July 26 Board of Commissioners Public Policy Agenda
The SBM Board of Commissioners will be considering several public policy items at its July 26 meeting. The public policy agenda can be reviewed online. Members of the State Bar are invited to submit comments to the Board of Commissioners on any of the items on the agenda. All comments received before the meeting will be shared with the Board.

Apply now to serve on an SBM committee in 2024-2025
Applications are now open to volunteer for a State Bar of Michigan committee during the 2024-2025 bar year. Applications are due by noon August 5, 2024.

Michigan attorneys report 38,000 hours of pro bono service
The State Bar of Michigan recently announced the 2024 A Lawyer Helps Pro Bono Honor Roll.
