When you were younger, what did you dream of being?: When I was younger I dreamt of becoming an attorney, this was always my destiny.

What is the one thing that best prepared you for a legal career?: The best thing that prepared me for my legal career was graduate school and the extensive study of the criminal justice system. It was important for me to work on my oratory skills throughout my collegiate years as well as enhancing critical thinking skills.

Do you have a desire to serve the community, young people, protect victims, or uphold specific laws and legislation? Determine your passion through experiences and make sure it's what you want to do to ensure you will be fulfilled. There will be good days and bad days but your purpose will drive you!

What is the one thing that best prepared you for a legal career?: Keeping a journal. I learned how to express myself in writing and that made a world of difference in the law where good writing often distinguishes the good from the mediocre attorney.
