The PMRC Helpline is a confidential and informal service designed to quickly assist State Bar members and their staff with practice management issues over the telephone or by e-mail. A practice management advisor will provide guidance, suggestions, referrals, and information on available resources in response to a variety of practice management topics. These topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Billing
  • Calendaring and docket control
  • Client communication
  • Employee relations
  • Fee setting
  • File systems and management
  • Marketing
  • Quality of life (life-work balance, career development)
  • Risk management
  • Technology (hardware, software systems, resources)
