The PMRC Helpline is a confidential and informal service designed
to quickly assist State Bar members and their staff with practice
management issues over the telephone or by e-mail. A practice
management advisor will provide guidance, suggestions, referrals,
and information on available resources in response to a variety
of practice management topics. These topics include, but are
not limited to:
- Billing
- Calendaring and docket control
- Client communication
- Employee relations
- Fee setting
- File systems and management
- Marketing
- Quality of life (life-work balance, career development)
- Risk management
- Technology (hardware, software systems, resources)
The vision of the PMRC is to offer comprehensive, personalized
on-site consulting services to State Bar members in the future.
